O tempo congelou em Sagres… Congelou num dia de verão e todos os dias desde então esse dia repete-se. Temperaturas a rondar os 30 graus e agua do mar a rondar os 20 têm atraído muitas pessoas á praia, mas não só, a água quente atrai também os golfinhos que ontem se aproximaram da praia da mareta em Sagres.
Time froze in Sagres … it Froze on a summer day and every day since it is repeated. Temperatures around 30 degrees and the sea water around the 20, have attracted many people to the beach, but not only peaple, the hot water also attracts dolphins that yesterday approached Mareta beach in Sagres.
Todos os anos no verão os avistamentos de golfinhos nas águas de Sagres aumentam, sobretudo da espécie golfinho comum. Esta é a espécie mais amistosa e curiosa, aproximando-se muitas vezes das embarcações e permitindo algumas fotos bem de perto!
Every year in the summer, sightings of dolphins in the waters of Sagres increase, especially the common dolphin species. This is the species most friendly and curious, often approaching vessels and allowing some photos up close!

Desci a pé até ao porto da baleeira de onde parte o barco dos golfinhos, da empresa Mar Ilimitado, que para alem de passeios de observação da vida marinha, tambem nos mostra os encantos e recantos desta belíssima costa.
I went walking to the Baleeira Harbour where the dolphin boat , from the company Mar Ilimitado leaves and which in addition to Marine wildlife observation tours, also shows us the hidden corners of this beautiful coast.

Stayed in the hotel in January and simply loved it, and it wasnt by chance that i loved it, as i heard recently the hotel won a series of prices such as an award by the Portuguese Tourism Office for the best requalification project by a private company, and adding to this the Memmo Baleeira was votted as one of the ten best European Beach Hotels by the Geo saison Magazine.
Congratulations to all the staff of the Memmo Baleeira Hotel as you are all getting the well deserved recognition for the excelent services you provide
